At the September 12 Miller Invitational at Harbour Trees, Guerin Catholic carded a team score of 355 for 6th place out of 9 teams.  Christina Pfefferkorn was the individual runner-up with a two-under par 69, making five birdies along the way. Two county girls golf teams were part of a three-team meet Tuesday at Bear Slide Golf Club. Guerin Catholic won the nine-hole meet with a score of 184, followed by Hamilton Heights with a 196. Guerin Catholic’s Varsity Golf Team scored 346 to take sixth place  at the Jefferson Lady Broncho’s Invitational, Battleground Golf Club. Twenty-one teams participated with 109 players. Guerin Varsity Girls’s Golf Team moved up in the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association Poll this week to #18!

For the fifth straight year, Guerin Catholic Varsity Golf brings home the Circle City Conference Trophy. Junior Christina Pfefferkorn wins medalist honors and Junior Audrey Kunce also medals with a 6th place finish.

At the August 22 Roncalli Invitational, Guerin Catholic’s Varsity Golf team, ranked No. 20, finished in seventh place with a 349. We also had the individual runner-up: Christina Pfefferkorn who carded an even par 72. Guerin Varsity Girl’s Golf Team maintained their #20 ranking in the Week 2 Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association poll.

Guerin Catholic picked up a team championship on Saturday, August 15 winning the Ben Davis Invitational. The No. 20-ranked Golden Eagles scored a 325, with Plainfield the runner-up by scoring 331. Guerin Catholic had a nice start to its season, with a victory last Monday and a close runner-up finish last Tuesday. First, the Golden Eagles won the four-team Cathedral Irish Invitational at Maple Creek Golf Club, scoring 378. Christina Pfefferkorn was the meet medalist, shooting 78.
